One week from today I travel to Toronto to see my grandchildren before I fly to New York Fri March 7. There has been considerable phone calls and emails as Ecumenical Women steering Committee put the finishing touches on our orientation program for Sat March 8. The morning program includes an address by the Chair of UN Women and an interesting panel. The afternoon will offer 3 workshops one of which I will be co-leading. I hope that the weather is warmer in New York than it is here (-16C plus wind chill). Over the weekend I will attempt to contact people that I have met in previous years. I am especially excited to be part of the Soroptimist Orientation Sunday afternoon f0ollowed by supper and a chance to meet many of the people I have been emailing with the last few months.
